About 

Abby Asmuth is a producer, director, and writer drawn to the intersection of creativity and execution. She aspires to pair great storytelling with the leadership that champions stories from idea to audience.

A recent graduate from Yale University, Abby studied English with a Screenwriting Concentration, writing three television pilots and writing and producing multiple shorts. She devoted much of her time to running Yale Artists Cabaret, one of Yale's premier performing arts groups, and directing the Yale Student Film Festival, the largest film event on campus.

Currently, Abby works  as the Office of the President Trainee at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), directly supporting SPT's President and Head of Creative. This experience has given her an in-depth understanding of the studio system, while preparing her with the necessary administrative and organizational skills to manage a desk. Previously, she interned at Red Wagon Entertainment, writing coverage and researching market trends for producers Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher. 

 

When not organizing her latest project, Abby enjoys skiing and reading fiction.
